Dan’s Background
Dan is a journeyman electrician and instrumentation technician in the process of retiring after 40 years (still carrying his license and practicing), and he has started his own business to assist his clients in obtaining a quality inspection of their residential or commercial property.
Dan has some friends who are home inspectors. He started working with them and realized it was a great fit for him. Being a homeowner since the 90s, he’s realized he essentially inspects his own home regularly to maintain it. He decided it was the perfect fit for his skillset. He’s excited to own his own business.
Tools of the Trade
Dan understands that a proper and complete home inspection requires the usage of some special industry tools. During the inspection, Dan will use a mixture of these tools and his own visual inspection to determine the true condition of the property.
Thermal Imaging
Dan uses thermal imaging to offer an infrared inspection. You’ll be able to see what’s inside the walls without having to cut any holes. This tool also points out hot spots, problems with insulation, etc.
360-Degree Camera
Being able to see things from a 360-degree photograph makes everything much easier. We can also put this camera into tiny spaces that would otherwise remain unseen.
Moisture Meter
Moisture can turn into a major issue very quickly. Our moisture meter can detect the presence of moisture and any related accumulation of mold.
Carbon Monoxide Detector
Our carbon monoxide detector will let you know if there’s any of this silent killer inside your home.
Gas Leak Detector
Most people rely on their nose to detect a gas leak. However, our detector can pick up even the tiniest gas leak that you won’t be able to smell.
